How to resize Image Dimensions and Size when filling form of JEE MAINS 2016 - Full Guide

Many students are facing a common problem while filling the application form of JEE Mains 2016 and that is the size of images of photograph , signature and thumb impression . The prescribed format of size of images given by JEE Mains are :

File Format                                                                          File Size                    Dimension

Photograph of Candidate                                   JPEG format 4KB to 100KB   3.5cm x 4.5cm

Signature of Candidate                                      JPEG format 1KB to 30KB     3.5cm x 1.5cm

So today i will show you how to upload your images in the given dimension or size . This method is applicable for any other examinations as well . First of all Download this software called Free Picture Resizer Starter from here ( only 4 MB Size ) . Go to the given link and then you can download it from multiple sites given there .

After opening image you can see size on left panel and change scale to cm and choose appropriate size you want as shown in image below .

1. Download the software and install it . 
2. Then open your image ( photograph or thumb or signature ) in it by clicking on open image as shown in image below .
   
                             
3. Untick Aspect Ratio option if you are facing difficulties in selecting size then click on resize image .
   
   
   
4. After that click on save and save the image wherever you want and then you can upload it .
